KOTA KINABALU : – In determining the future direction of Sabah, what is DAP Sabah’s position?

For us, the time has come to prioritise what truly matters — a foundation based on policies and governance frameworks, not merely political alliances for election purposes.

The people want solutions, not just politics.

1. Politics is not merely about who partners with whom — but about what we fight for together. DAP Sabah believes the people are tired of endless power struggles.
2. What they truly want are tangible outcomes: stable electricity and water supply, quality job opportunities, good public facilities, and a brighter future for all.
   3. Therefore, we call on all parties — regardless of political background — to unite for a common goal: building a fairer, more inclusive, and sustainable Sabah. This unity should not just be a political alliance, but a shared commitment for the benefit of the people.
   4. To truly bring about change, we need:
   • Political stability to ensure government policies can be implemented effectively. • Common policies that prioritise the wellbeing of the people, especially the hardcore poor and often-marginalised minority communities.
   5. We must not let differences become barriers. Politics should be a platform for collaboration and problem-solving, not a battlefield for division.
   6. DAP Sabah is committed to playing an active role in cultivating a new political culture — one that is more progressive, mature, and people-centric.
   7. Ultimately, we must recognise that this struggle is not about individuals, parties, or positions. It is about Sabah. About our people. And about the future we build together.
