Sabah leaders should set aside political political differences

Let us set aside political differences and come together for the development of Sabah,” Datuk James Ligunjang JP

In order for the state government to effectively address challenges and serve the people of Sabah, it is essential that a constructive dialogue exists within our democratic system. While criticism is necessary in this process, it should be accompanied by proactive ideas and suggestions from the opposition.

By putting politics aside and prioritizing the betterment of Sabah, all stakeholders can collaborate towards progress and development. Our common goal should be to serve the people and create positive change in the state, irrespective of political differences.

Constructive criticism helps identify areas for improvement and allows the government to address these issues effectively. However, it is equally important for the opposition to go beyond criticism and provide valuable ideas and alternative policies. This will foster healthy debate and contribute to the overall development of Sabah.

Politicians from all parties must prioritize the well-being and interests of the people of Sabah. This can be achieved through robust partnerships and alliances that transcend political affiliations and focus on progress. By engaging in these partnerships, free from outside influences from political parties in Malaya, we can create inclusive policies that address the diverse needs and aspirations of Sabah’s population.

The primary duty of politicians is to serve the people, regardless of their party affiliation. By setting aside political differences and focusing on development, politicians can create an environment that promotes progress, prosperity, and the overall well-being of the people of Sabah.
