Karim Bujang quits Warisan, joins GRS

KOTA KINABALU: The Permanent Chairman of Parti Warisan Sabah (WARISAN), Datuk Karim Bujang, has declared his departure from the party and has officially become a member of Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (Gagasan Rakyat).

He submitted his membership form to the Gagasan Rakyat president, Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor, during the party’s breaking of fast event at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) in Kota Kinabalu yesterday.

The event was attended by Deputy President Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun, Vice Presidents Datuk Dr. Mohd Arifin Mohd Arif, and Datuk Masiung Banah.

Also present were Secretary-General Datuk Mohd Razali Razi, Youth Movement Chief Datuk Fairuz Renddan, Women’s Chief Datuk Redonah Bahanda, Beliawan State Chief Emmie M. Idang, State Information Chief Datuk Nizam Abu Bakar Titingan, and State Treasurer Datuk Gulamhaidar Khan Bahadar.

Prior to the event, Hajiji chaired the Gagasan Rakyat Supreme Council Meeting in the Kinabalu meeting room at SICC.
