KDM appoints businessman Datuk Yong as a supreme council member

KENINGAU: The Chairman of the Federation of Hakka Associations of Sabah and the Federal Territory of Labuan Datuk, Yong Oi Kiong, has been appointed as a supreme council member of the Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat (KDM).

The appointment letter was handed over by KDM President Datuk Peter Anthony during a meeting with the Chinese community at Chin’s Orchard Farm, near here on Tuesday.

Peter also appointed businessman Chin Hon Shu as the new Keningau KDM Chief.

In his latest Facebook post, Peter expressed his appreciation for the inclusion of Yong Oi Kiong and Chin Hon Shu in the KDM community.

The Social Democratic Harmony Party ( KDM) is a regional political party based in Sabah, founded by Peter Anthony  after resigning from Parti Warisan.

KDM deputy president is the Kota Marudu MP Datuk Wetrom Bahanda.

The party’s Secretary General is Wilie Jude Junaidi.
