KUALA LUMPUR: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor
accompanied Head of State Tun Juhar Mahiruddin to attend the first day of the
266th Conference of Rulers at the Istana Negara here today.
The two-day meeting was attended by all the Malay rulers and Heads of State in
Malaysia.
While in Kuala Lumpur, Hajiji also called on Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in Putrajaya on Tuesday.
They held a four-eyed meeting with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to discuss current development.
The meeting was held shortly after the Menteri Besar and Chief Ministers Meeting at the Prime Minister’s Office.
During the meeting, Hajiji also extended the invitation to the Prime Minister to officiate the opening of the Sabah Blue Economy Conference (SIBEC 2024) to be held in Kota Kinabalu this September.
On Monday night, Hajiji hosted a dinner for Sabah members of parliament and senators in Kuala Lumpur.
The informal get-together at Suria KLCC was to discuss current issues, among others.
