Sandakan Lions Club City cleans Pasir Putih Beach

SANDAKAN : – The Lions Club Sandakan City successfully organized the Pasir Putih Sandakan Beach Clean Up Vol 1 program yesterday evening.

The initiative saw active participation from over 40 dedicated volunteers who came together to restore the cleanliness and beauty of Pasir Putih Beach.

Among the special invitees was Datuk Poon Ming Fung @ Frankie, ADUN N.56 Tanjong Papat, along with his team.

Poon expressed his deep commitment to environmental conservation efforts and emphasized the importance of community involvement in maintaining a clean and sustainable environment for future generations.

In a generous gesture, he donated boots for the participants to wear during the clean-up, ensuring their safety as they worked to remove waste from the beach.

The event was hailed as a significant step towards promoting environmental awareness in Sandakan, with all participants united in the shared goal of making a positive impact on the local environment.

The Lions Club Sandakan City, in collaboration with various community stakeholders, plans to continue such efforts through future clean-up programs and community-driven activities.
