“But I was very disappointed, nothing seemed to have moved for the better. The road from Kiulu is not even safe for motorcyclists,” he said.

Amandus, 48, was speaking after submitting his membership application form  to join Parti Warisan.

Ruminding is a village deep in the tropical jungle but is within the Inanam constituency, under the jurisdiction of Kota Kinabalu City.

Inanam Warisan officer Cyron Chang received the application witnessed by the party’s activist Lewis Wong.

“After careful consideration, I decided to join, Parti Warisan, a local party that truly represents the voice of the people of Sabah, ” Amandus said.

This is his first time joining a political party, and he thereby expressed his support for Warisan’s principles and struggles.

Lewis and Cyron upon receiving Amandus’ membership application reiterate that if given the mandate to rule the state, Warisan is committed to implementing equitable development for every village.

A Warisan Government will ensure that no area is left behind in the state’s development process.
