KOTA KINABALU : – Kiulu Assemblyman Datuk Joniston Bangkuai lauded the headmasters of the Kiulu zone for their proactive efforts in developing a school dashboard.
This makes Kiulu among the first zone in Sabah to have such a system.
“I am sure the school dashboard will help schools, parents, and the community stay connected and provide up to date information on student performance and school activities.
“This initiative will set a new standard for other areas in the Tuaran district to promote the use of digital tools in education,” said Joniston at the Majlis Apresiasi Sekolah-Sekolah Zon Kiulu Sesi Akademik 2024/2025 here, on Thursday.

Also present were Tuaran District Education Officer Awang Seman Awang Tahir and Kiulu Zone Headmasters Council chairman Lucy Jimoh.
Joniston also expressed his commitment to maintaining regular engagement with school headmasters in Kiulu to understand and address their needs better.
He highlighted the necessity of strengthening the existing close rapport between ADUN and schools to ensure excellent collaborative efforts in education.
“Teachers are community leaders. They should use their influence and experience to bring about positive changes for the betterment of villagers where their schools are located,” said Joniston.
