
KOTA KINABALU : – Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Musa Aman paid a short visit to Brunel today (Thursday).
The special plane carrying Tun Musa and his wife, Toh Puan Faridah Tussin departed through Terminal 2 of Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA) at 10.57am.
Accompanying him at the airport were Sabah Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Dr. Mohd Ariffin Mohd Arif, Speaker of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly Datuk Seri Kadzim M Yahya and Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister Datuk Nizam Abu Bakar Titingan.
While in Brunei Darussalam, Tun Musa and Toh Puan Faridah met the Sultan of Brunei Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah and the King’s wife Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha at Istana Nurul Iman, Bandar Seri Begawan at about 11.55 am.
His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, granted an audience to Tun Musa at Istana Nurul Iman, Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam..
Also present at the audience were Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha, Toh Puan Datin Seri Panglima Datuk Hajah Faridah binti Haji Tussin, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah and his wife, Her Royal Highness Pengiran Anak Sarah, as well as the accompanying minister, Pehin Datuk Lailaraja Major General (B) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, and his wife, Datin Hajah Kalshom binti Haji Suhaili.
Tun Musa has had a close relationship with Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah from back in the days when he was the Sabah Chief Minister.
This marks his first visit since being appointed as the Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Sabah on 1 January 2025.
Following the audience, Tun and Toh Puan attended a luncheon hosted by His Majesty the Sultan and Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha.
