Naughty cat Cholos rescued after getting stuck in window
SANDAKAN : – It was an adventure gone wrong for a mischievous cat named Cholos, who found itself trapped in a metal-grilled window at a house in Taman Mesra, Sandakan, before being rescued by the Sandakan Civil Defence Force (APM).
Cholos, known for its playful and curious nature, had wandered outside in the morning but ended up in an unfortunate predicament.
Instead of returning home as usual, it somehow got wedged between the bars of the window grille, unable to free itself.
Its owner, noticing the cat was missing, searched around the house and was shocked to find Cholos awkwardly stuck, staring back helplessly.
With no way to get the feline out, the owner called APM for assistance at 9.45 am.
A total of five APM personnel were deployed to the scene.
Arriving swiftly, they worked carefully for 40 minutes, using their tools to free the trapped cat without causing it any harm.
Thankfully, Cholos was unharmed—though perhaps a little embarrassed—before being safely returned to its relieved owner.
The Sandakan APM reminded pet owners to always keep an eye on their adventurous pets and ensure their surroundings are safe to prevent similar incidents.
Whether Cholos has learned its lesson remains to be seen, but one thing is certain—the Civil Defence Force is always ready to help, no matter how big or small the rescue!
