Former ADO Tamparuli’s support shot in the arm for KDM

TAMPARULI: Former Tamparuli Sub-district Officer and former Permanent Secretary of a State Ministry Gundohing Celestinus Lawanding has officially joined the Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat (KDM) during a recent event in Kampung Minangkob.

The event coincided with the establishment of a new KDM branch for three villages: – Kampung Minangkob, Kampung Koporingan, and Kampung Kapa.

Attended by local residents and KDM leaders, the ceremony featured the submission of Celestinus Lawanding’s membership application to the Tamparuli KDM Chief, Dr. Gaim James Lunkapis.

The submission was also witnessed by Tuaran KDM Division Chief, Gundohing Henry Saimpon, and KDM Secretary-General, Gundohing Willie Jude.

In his speech, Gundohing Celestinus Lawanding expressed that his decision to join KDM was motivated by his confidence in the party’s commitment to advocating for the rights and welfare of the people of Sabah.

He also expressed hope that KDM would continue to grow and serve as a political platform capable of bringing about positive change for the community.

Meanwhile, Dr. Gaim James Lunkapis welcomed Celestinus Lawanding’s participation, describing it as a fresh boost for the party.

He emphasized KDM’s commitment to strengthening its position in Sabah, particularly in the Tamparuli DUN.

With Celestinus Lawanding’s joining, KDM is confident of garnering strong support from the people in its efforts to build a more prosperous future for Sabah.
