KOTA KINABALU : – The Stella Maris Kindergarten (TSM) in Tanjung Aru, Kota Kinabalu held its Kaamatan celebration on Wednesday.
According to the Headmistress of TSM, Sr Lucy A Embayan as usual the kindergarten will celebrate all major occasions in the country including Merdeka Day and religious and cultural celebrations.
The idea is to educate the pupils from young so they will grow up understanding and respect others, she added.
Among the highlights yesterday were Little Unduk Ngadau contest, Best-Dressed Kids contest, and parade of costumes as well as Sumazau.
The pupils were also introduced to all aspects of Kaamatan like Costues, Traditional Instruments and Food.
