KIULU, 24 AUGUST 2025: The Gabungan Rakyat Sabah-led State government has delivered unmatched achievements for Sabah, setting benchmarks compared to previous administration, said GRS Information chief Joniston Bangkuai.
He said GRS’s record speaks for itself, with the highest state revenue in history, the strongest state reserves, and the largest-ever allocations for every state constituency.
The Assistant Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister said last year State revenue was a record RM6.9 billion while State reserves now stands at RM8.7 billion.
“These milestones show that GRS is truly a government that delivers real and measurable results for the people. We have been able to introduced numerous new initiatives for the benefit of the rakyat which previous State government, especially Parti Warisan government, was unable to deliver.”
“In Kiulu, the changes we are seeing are unprecedented. Never in history have we been able to allocate RM1.5 million just for agriculture roads because each ADUN received a record annual allication of RM4 million.”
“For the first time as well, we secured more than 120 Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) houses for families who need them the most,” he said during a meet-the-people programme at Kampung Tiong, on Sunday.
The Kiulu assemblyman highlighted that these achievements are possible because of GRS’s political stability and smart financial management.
Among the coalition’s key successes are securing a RM600 million Federal Special Grant, signing the Commercial Collaboration Agreement (CCA), which has raked in millions of ringgit in revenue for the state, and ensuring record allocations that directly benefit the rakyat.
“These achievements are unmatched. No other government has been able to do what GRS has done in such a short time, and this is only the beginning.
“As Sabah’s revenue continues to grow, we will be able to deliver even more to our people… This momentum must continue to ensure Sabah’s progress is not derailed,” Joniston said.” he said.
He urged voters to judge GRS by its track record, stressing that continuity and stability are crucial as the next state election approaches.
