SELAMATKAN SABAH” — A CALL TO RESCUE STATE, RESTORE DIGNITY

Shafie Apdal….to save Sabah from further destruction by failed government.

TAWAU : – Selamatkan Sabah. Two words that now carry the hopes and frustrations of an entire people.

This morning in Tawau, Parti Warisan launched its new slogan “Selamatkan Sabah” (Save Sabah) as a rallying cry for Sabahans to rise together and reclaim their future in the face of worsening hardship, corruption and failed governance under the current administration.

Warisan President Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal said the slogan reflects not only a political movement but a moral duty to defend Sabah from further decline.

“Selamatkan Sabah isn’t merely a slogan. It is a calm to save Sabah from further destruction by failed government.

The people still have no clean water, frequent blackouts, damaged roads, rising cost and unemployment,” Shafie declared before a packed crowd of grassroots supporters.

He said the time has come for Sabahans to stand together as a clean, local, people-centred movement determined to restore honesty, stability and prosperity to the state.

“It has been five long years of suffering. The time has come for us to take back the government. This is about the future of Sabah,” he said to loud applause.

The new Selamatkan Sabah logo features the familiar red, white, and blue of Warisan that represent purity of struggle, courage in adversity and competence in governance.

It represents the vision of unity and determination that have driven Warisan from the 2018 reform wave to today’s renewed fight to defend Sabah’s dignity.

Reaffirming Warisan’s integrity pledge, Shafie announced that every Warisan candidate will be bound by a RM10 million loyalty bond, ensuring that any representative who betrays the people’s mandate will automatically lose both party membership and their seat.

Shafie expressed confidence that Selamatkan Sabah will spark a new wave of political awakening similar to 2018 but deeper, stronger and born of the people’s own lived suffering.

“The people don’t need empty promises. They need honesty, diligence and a leadership that has the courage to uphold Sabah’s rights and dignity. That is Warisan’s struggle,” he said.

The party will carry the slogan Selamatkan Sabah across all 73 constituencies, ensuring every Warisan leader and supporter speaks with one voice and one vision to save Sabah not for politics but for its people.
