INANAM: – The campaign trail for the 17th Sabah State Election has opened up valuable opportunities for Parti Warisan (Warisan) candidate for Inanam constituency, Edna Jessica Majimbun, 47, to get closer to the people and better understand the issues affecting them.

She said that as the campaign enters its final week, many concerns have been identified in the constituency, particularly those involving infrastructure, including road conditions that still require significant improvement.

Access to several village areas remains difficult, with certain stretches of road still challenging for vehicles and in need of upgrading, she said.

“Although Inanam is considered close to the city centre, entering some villages is still very difficult due to poor road infrastructure. Therefore, issues like this are definitely something I will work to address if Warisan is chosen to form the state government,” she said in a statement.

Edna said that since nomination day, the Warisan campaign in Inanam has been highly encouraging, receiving strong support from grassroots communities.

She added that the positive response further strengthens Warisan’s confidence of winning the majority and forming the next state government after the upcoming state election.

“I can say that from our campaign in all areas, almost 100 per cent are supporting Warisan, and I see this as a sign of change. Perhaps the people have not felt the development they hoped for previously. So through Warisan, they want change,” she said.
