JCI Calls Youth to Vote in GE17 Sabah

KOTA KINABALU : – Junior Chamber Internarional Moyog encourages all eligible voters in Sabah especially the youth to come out in full strength on 29 November and exercise their fundamental democratic right.

“Your vote is your voice, and your participation is vital to ensuring leadership that truly reflects the will of the people,” says Ray Chee who is the President of JCI Moyog in a statement Friday.

“We also call on every voter to remain vigilant, calm, and well-informed throughout the electoral process.”

“Transparency, integrity, and public trust are the pillars of a healthy democracy, and it is the responsibility of all parties—from election officials to political actors and citizens—to uphold these values, ” he added.

In this regard, JCI Moyog urge the public to stay alert and help ensure that no attempts at any vote rigging or any other unethical practices occur during the election.

The awareness and cooperation of the community in this area remain equally important.

Any suspicious activity should be reported immediately to the relevant authorities or to our observation team.

“Let us work together to ensure a peaceful, fair, and transparent election. Your participation and vigilance are essential to safeguarding Sabah’s democratic process, ” Ray said.

JCI Moyog (Malaysia) is a worldwide federation of young professionals and entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 40.
