SANDAKAN: Panel Klinik Kesihatan Sandakan chairman Robert Chong Thien Ming announced that they has kick starts their first health programmes and will end in September.
“Today the committee has just concluded its programnes discussion and meeting to finalised all details and budget for 2024 ,” he said in a statement.
Our programmes will consist of immunisation for children under age 7 within KKS vicinity, talk on HIV, tuberculosis screening, pap smear screening and many more health talk and activities.
He also announced that KKS has been selected to hold the mini convention for the whole of Sandakan unit Klinik kesihatan before the main event of state convention, also to be held in Sandakan in August.
KKS will be organising a charity run in June for health awareness and in conjunction with the state convention and further expand their health activities in the coming years.
Chong said KKS Sandakan is committed to giving better health check and information to the public, as many still lack information about healthy living and medical check up.
Chong also thanked caring netizens who donated and sponsored to KKS last year Bazaar Madani organised by panel KKS.
“We are going to put these money in good use and committed in helping those in needs.”
