KOTA KINABALU : Sabah Development Berhad chairman Datuk Frankie Poon attended the environmental exhibition organised by Sabah Tshung Tsin Secondary School on Thursday.

The event was co-organised with the chief editor of “The Environmental Magazine” Tsen Kim Poh.

Also present was Assistant State Finance Minister Tan Lee Fatt.

Exploring different booths and exhibits can increase our awareness of environmental issues such as climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution. It may highlight the urgency of taking action to protect the planet,  Poon said.

“While environmental exhibitions can be informative and inspiring, they can also evoke feelings of concern or even anxiety about the state of the environment,” he said.

Witnessing the impact of human activities on nature may prompt reflections on the need for collective action to address environmental challenges, he added.

Overall, attending environmental exhibition booths can be a thought-provoking and enriching experience, offering a chance to learn, engage, and contribute to the global effort to protect the environment for future generations, Poon said.
