KIULU : – The Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) in Kiulu has highlighted the critical importance of solidarity among its key parties as they gear up for next state election.
GRS information chief Datuk Joniston Bangkuai said a strong united front among Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (PGRS), STAR, and Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) in Kiulu will be crucial to the coalition’s success in the constituency.
“Our victory in Kiulu will be a victory for GRS, ensuring the continuation of the good work under the leadership of Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor,” he said during the N.15 GRS Solidarity Gathering here, on Monday.
“We must embody the spirit of solidarity within GRS, as it is the bedrock of our strength in Kiulu. We must ensure that PBS, STAR, and PGRS move forward together in unity.
“We need to stay on the same path and handle differences in opinion with maturitu and wisdom,” he added.
Present were Chief Political Secretary to the Chief Minister, Datuk Abdul Kassim Razali; PGRS Kiulu Division Chief, Janih Bangud; and STAR Kiulu Division Chief, Terence Sinti.
Joniston, who is also the PBS Kiulu Division Chief and the Kiulu Assemblyman, emphasised that every component party of GRS in Kiulu must manage disagreement effectively and ensure that no issues disrupt the coalition’s unity at the constituency level.
He also urged GRS members in Kiulu to remain united and not be swayed by the opposition’s political tactics designed to weaken the coalition.
Meanwhile, Terence reaffirmed STAR’s full support for GRS in Kiulu, pledging to contribute to the coalition’s victory.
“We must demonstrate that GRS stands strong in Kiulu and continues to support the coalition’s leadership of the state government,” he stated.
Echoing Terence, Jasnih emphasised that the GRS Solidarity gathering must continue regularly to reinforce unity and ensure the spirit of solidarity in Kiulu remains strong.
He added that consistent engagement through this gathering will help address emerging challenges and keep all members aligned with the coalition’s shared goals.
