KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor met with the Native Court Judicial Department committee to discuss ways to strengthen the Native Court institution.
The committee was led by Chairman Datuk Martin Idang, a former High Court Judge.
Also in the entourage were committee deputy chairman Dr Benedict Topin, who is also the President of the Sabah Native Affairs Council (MHEANS), and Sabah Native Affairs Department Director Majaran Osman.
The rest of the committee members present were UiTM Senior Law Lecturer Datin Dr Rafidah @ Malissa Salleh, State Civil Service Deputy Chairman Datuk Stephen Sondoh.
Also present was Housing Tribunal Chairman Juprin Wong, State Attorney-General Department Senior Law Officer Dulce Majawit, Sabah Law Society representative Datuk John Sikayun, MHEANS Research Officer Beverly Jud in and Syaheeda Hamdan.
