Hajiji urges to file police report on threats linked to the Sabah mining scandal

Jeffery Nor…those who feel threatened should file a police report

KOTA KINABALU: If the allegations circulating on social media regarding the Sabah mining scandal are perceived as threats, it is essential for Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor to report this to the police.

Sabah UMNO Election Director Jeffery Nor Mohamed emphasised that this action is crucial for maintaining the integrity of the state government and preventing ongoing accusations.

“As citizens of Sabah, we also seek clarity on the situation, as it involves the executive administration of the state, not merely a political party,” he said in a statement, here today.

Jeffery, who is also the Putatan UMNO Chief expressed hope that all parties would allow the authorities to investigate the matter thoroughly.

“Therefore, those who feel threatened should file a police report if the claims are unfounded,” he advised.

He noted that conflicting statements could lead to public confusion regarding the ongoing situation.

“In order to ensure good governance in our state, it is necessary for this matter to be investigated properly. If the allegations are false, appropriate actions should be taken,” he added.
