SOOK: A former state government civil servant is optimistic that Dr. Oswald Aisat, the Vice President of the Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat (KDM), could create a significant impact if he is selected to contest for the seat in the upcoming State Election (PRN).
Dakus Dalat, 60, a native of Tulid, expressed this confidence based on his observations and the feedback from the community, who view Dr. Oswald as a charismatic local leader.
“I have often heard of Dr. Oswald, the prospective KDM candidate for DUN Tulid, as someone with an exceptional personality.
“He holds a PhD but interacts with the community with such humility, as an ordinary person,” he stated.
Dakus made these remarks after submitting his KDM party membership application to Dr. Oswald during a brief event in Minawo, Tulid, on Saturday.
He noted that many in the community support the KDM’s mission, which influenced his decision to join the local party’s efforts.
Dakus also expressed his commitment to campaigning for KDM in the upcoming 17th PRN.
The DUN Tulid seat is currently held by Datuk Flovia Ng from the STAR party, which is part of the GRS coalition.
