SANDAKAN : – President of Sandakan Municipal Council (MPS) president Walter Kenson is pleased with the complication of the refreshed and upgraded billboard of Sandakan Heritage Trail at Heritage Stairs.
Showing off this new billboard which includes the logo and mascots of Visit Malaysia 2026,
is the Sandakan Heritage Trail group headed by Lai King Hang, the Founder and Chairman.
Additional solar lights are added to the billboard in order to brighten it and the space around it at night.
This is in line with the recent changes by the Sandakan Municipal Council to clean up and lighted up the Sandakan town to attract more visitors to enjoy the ambience of streets at night encouraging more evening economic activities and movement of people in the town area.
Lai also added it is a timely installation to anticipate Visit Malaysia 2026 and also to mark World Heritage Day on 18 April 2025.
